How it Works

A Virtual Assistant is a highly-skilled professional that provides administrative and personal assistance to small business owners and entrepreneurs while working in collaborative relationships.

I work remotely, from my in-home office.  I have a secure work environment, free from distraction and outside interference.  I excel at multi-tasking and enjoy working with a diverse clientele base.

• The first step would be to contact me and submit the very short questionnaire on the home page.  This will provide me with some basic information about you and what you are looking for. 

 

• Next steps - I will contact you to arrange a phone call to further discuss your needs and which plan might best suit you.  Our initial consultation is at no charge to you and you are under no obligation to utilize my services if you (or I) feel that we aren't a good fit.

If we both decide that it's a mutually beneficial working partnership, we can move forward with detailing the work hours needed as well as expectations, etc.  I do provide a simple Independent Contractor Agreement/Contract for you to review and that we each sign - a sample of this contract is available for you to review at any time prior to our partnership.

  • Appointment scheduling

  • Make & receive phone calls

  • Coordinate thank you cards and gift-giving

  • Send out invitations and coordinate registration & responses

  • Client follow-up

  • Graphic design work for projects, logos, labels, branding, etc...

Industry Specific Services that I offer:

I have worked in the Brokerage/Finance industry since 1987 at the young age of 17.  I have truly grown up in the brokerage industry as a support person - Client Associate, Sales Assistant, Administrative Assistant - there have been many titles.  I truly enjoy my career and value the relationships that I have established with not only the Advisors but with the clients I am assisting.  I started at Prudential-Bache in October 1987 (the crash!) and moved over to Merrill Lynch for a great 15 year career before starting a family. 

I now work directly & remotely on the Charles Schwab and TD Ameritrade platforms, supporting RIA firms and Individual Advisors.  I am happy to provide you with references should you wish to speak with Advisors I have worked with in the past or present.

  • Client information gathering: Completing on-boarding packets and all new account and transfer paperwork and submitting them to the specific custodian and ensuring a smooth client experience.

  • Account maintenance: Updating client accounts and adding additional features to their accounts (i.e. adding checking, ACH, Options/Margin, converting Joint Accounts to Trusts, etc.).
